One of the most American hilarious shows, Pen15, is all set to come back with its third season. Even though its second season was released a few days ago on 18 September 2020. Now the show viewers are anxiously waiting for the third one due to the higher demand popularity of the first two seasons. This American comedy web series is created by Crossing Swords Season 2 Actor- Maya Erskine, Anna Konkle, and Sam Zvibleman. The first season of the show premiered on 8 February 2019 on the original network, Hulu. This recent season presents a bunch of 14 episodes in which only half of the episodes are released.
The story’s main narrative revolved around a middle school in which the lead characters, Maya and Anna, presented as the 13-year-old school-going guys where the best moments of their life would seem to be turned into the worst one, the stroke of a gel pen.

Pen15 Season 3 Release Date: When will it be air?
Here’s a bad news for Pen15 fans, Pen15 won’t be returning for a third season.
The second season of Pen15 was premiered on 18 September 2020 on the streaming network Hulu. It compromises only seven episodes of 27 to 29 minutes each. The makers only aired half of the episodes in season 2. The rest of them you will get to watch in early 2021.
Episode 8 of season 2 titled “Jacuzzi,” will be an animated episode in which we will watch Maya and Anna go for a family trip to Florida with the latter’s father. A summary from Hulu states, “On vacation with Curtis, Anna and Maya are introduced to new crippling insecurities. The girls try to ignore them, but a mystical turn makes their self-doubt impossible to forget.”
Hulu’s PEN15 is coming to an end after only two seasons. Pen 15 Season 2 which telecasted its final batch of episodes on December 3 — will now be the show’s final season, according to a Hulu official.
Konkle and Erskine have been working on the show that became PEN15 for nearly a decade, and insiders told The Hollywood Reporter that they were willing to take a break. Also, they welcomed their first children recently: Konkle’s daughter, Essie Wunderle Anfanger, was born in early 2021, whereas Erskine’s boy, Leon Frederick, was born in May.
It doesn’t mean Maya and Anna’s journey is ended for good; according to other sources, Hulu is very interested in doing more seasons of PEN15 if Erskine and Konkle ever plan to return to the plot. But, for the time being, it’s best to leave middle school’s adolescent misery behind and return to adulthood’s normal discomfort.

Pen15 is about to release a new animated episode based on the same scenario. The thing that changed is that in its animated special Jacuzzi, the series may have produced its best episode yet.
Surprisingly, Jacuzzi outperforms anything that has come before it. Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle go on a vacation to Florida with Anna’s newly single dad in this little, pleasant holiday episode. They met some guys, try some alcohol, and get into some little mischief. In reality, nothing significant occurs, yet it all appears significant according to the lens through which it is viewed.
Pen15 takes place 20 years ago, and the animation immediately reminds me of MTV’s 90s series Liquid Television.
The fact that Jacuzzi is animated also helps to disguise the show’s primary concept, which is that adult women are playing with children.
