Have Nine Perfect Strangers been renewed for a second season? We don’t have any reports at the moment since Hulu hasn’t made any official announcements yet. However, we can hope for an encore after the excellent performance recorded by the first season. It is also worth noting that Big Little Lies, a Nicole Kidman (Roar) and David Kelley’s collaboration, ended up getting an extra season from HBO, even though it was meant to be a limited series.
If renewed, we can expect the second season a year after. Season 1’s filming was grossly affected by the pandemic, just like many other TV shows. It had to shift from Los Angeles to Byron Bay. The start of production and debut took an entire year.

We can’t guarantee a second season as we are all waiting for Hulu to make an announcement. We also don’t know what it will look like since, unlike the first which was based on an existing source material, season 2 would be a completely new story.
However, the directors will bring back the same nine patients that we saw in the first season. There may also be some new characters. The only two cast members that we should expect back on our screens are Nicole Kidman, who played Masha, and Ayla Brown, Tatiana (Perry Mason).
Even though it may be too early to speculate, Season 2 will probably bring co-creator David E Kelley and Jonathan Levin, the first season’s director, together again.
