Earlier this week, Marvel will feature Oscar Isaac in the title role as Superhero in Moon Knight. Now, who is in its director’s place is also being circulated.

As per the Deadline, Egyptian director Mohammad Diab will direct Marvel’s series “Moon Knight” on Disney+. But there’s no official declaration from Marvel and Disney yet.

Why did Diab become famous?

What is the origin of the series?

Moon Knight is based on Marvel’s comic book superhero. This character is created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. In August 1975, he first featured in Werewolf by Night #32.

The series follows Marc Spector, one of Marvel’s most fascinating fictional characters, a former mercenary, CIA agent, and fighter. He nearly dies during a mission in Egypt. Meanwhile, he finds a pharaonic tomb enclosing an idol of the moon god “Kunshu,” who gives him another chance of life with special powers.

The Umbrella Academy Jeremy Slater will work as showrunner, also lead the scriptwriter’s team. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige was the first who announced the series in August 2019 during D23.
