The former star of The Good Wife, Julianna Margulies, has joined the Season 2 cast of Apple TV’s The Morning Show.
Margulies will play Laura Peterson, an anchor at UBA News. She’ll join returning stars Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, and Karen Pittman and new series regulars Ruairi O’Connor and Greta Lee. Hasan Minhaj will repeat in Season 2.

The Morning Show is growing its cast for season two, with The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies pursuing a part in the Apple TV+ dramatization.
Margulies, who performed Alicia Florrick on The Good Wife for the seven seasons, will perform UBA News anchor Laura Peterson in the second season drama (through Variety). And stars Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston as The Morning Show has Bradley Jackson and Alex Levy.
No further info came out about Laura. However, we’re interested to perceive how she finds a way in with the general mish-mash, especially as season one of the show finished in a blast of drama when Alex and Bradley chose to uncover some unpleasant facts live on air.
Margulies won’t be the only fresh face on The Morning Show when it returns as Greta Lee. Ruairi O’Connor has also given a role as new series regulars Ty Fitzgerald and Stella Bak.
Witherspoon and Aniston will be back in their lead parts, with Steve Carell likewise returning as Mitch Kessler and Billy Crudup returning as Cory Ellison. Additionally set to return are Mark Duplass (Chip Black), Bel Powley (Claire Conway), Nestor Carbonell (Yanko Flores), Desean (Terry Daniel Henderson), and Karen Pittman (Mia Jordan).
When the Emmy-winning show returns, there will be an excellent deal for the characters to manage following that enormous season finale. The Morning Show started with the aftermath of famous TV anchor Mitch (Carell) blamed for sexual wrongdoing and, therefore, being terminated, with Bradley’s spot filled.
After ten episodes of exciting bends in the road, the primary season finished on a sensational note when Alex and Bradley uncovered the UBA network live on air for making a toxic culture and asked more people to stand up.
