Fans expect the upcoming family comedy to hit the Netflix streaming platform in October 2022. Hubie Halloween is one of the latest in a long queue of films spawning from the Netflix deal Sandler signed in 2014. An extension was provided to the partnership on January 2, to allow Sandler originally planned to make for Netflix happens to be Hubie Halloween. The film, an upcoming American comedy film co-produced and co-written by Adam Sandler, also features in the movie. Steven Brill directed the film and Happy Madison Productions produced it.

Netflix has not yet published an official synopsis of Hubie Halloween. However, the movie’s logline follows the story of Hubie Dubois, who is a figure of mockery for kids and adults despite his dedication to his hometown of Salem. He is obsessed with Halloween, doing his best to make sure the townspeople are celebrating safely. No one takes him seriously anymore, and his pleas for the community to be careful go straight to the bin. In the trailer, Maya Rudolph’s character exclaims how a loser Hubie is.
What the people of that town do not know is that this year things will be different and scarier. The most unexpected thing is that the town’s clown is the one going to make the difference, or is he?
