From the wonderful creator of The Big Bang theory, Chuck Lorre, comes Bob Hearts Abishola. This primetime television show is aired on CBS to offer some comedic relief for all those watching after a long day at work. The show was nominated for a primetime Emmy for “Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series” in 2019. Viewers have been clearly impressed by the show saying it finally offers a different type of comedy on television with remarks such as ‘wholesome’ coming from them. Critics have given the show a rating of 6.7 on IMDB showing that Chuck Lorre Productions and Werner Brothers Production have done a great job with the series.
Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 Release Date: When will it air?
CBS in May confirmed that season 2 of the beloved series would premier in September of 2020. However, due to COVID 19 ravaging through the world, filming of the series was halted and could not resume in the near future due to fears of spreading the virus. The first season of the series first aired on American TV on 7th February 2019. CBS have been reluctant on announcing the release date for season 2 because of production challenges faced. The company has also not announced the number of episodes expected in the new season.

the cast for this series features many notable personalities such as Billy Gardell (Bob) who was in Bad Santa and Avenging Angelo. He is joined with Folake Olowofeyeku who plays Abishola. These two are the main characters in the series. As with other comedy shows the cast does not feature many actors but includes; Matt Jones, Gina Yashere, Christine Ebersole, Maribeth Monroe, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka, Vernee Watson, Bayo Akinfemi, Travis Wolfe Jr., Anthony Okungbowa.
Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 Plot: What will happen?
We follow the life of Bob and Abishola. Bob is a divorced socks salesman and Abishola a nurse. Bob goes into cardiac arrest and is rushed to the hospital where Abishola works. He quickly falls in love with her from the minute he sees her. Abishola is however not interested in in Bob initially. Bob looks for small acts of affection and does them for Abishola. He firsts brings her socks and Abishola tells her friends about it. The friends start referring to Bob as the sock guy. They grow together and as they say “a love story made in America”

Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 Storyline:
Bob is a kind hearted man and a medical sock salesman. Abishola is a Nigerian immigrant nurse. Bob gets a heart attack and is rushed to work by his co-workers. It is not a major cardiac episode and he recovers quite quickly. When he opens his eyes, he sees his nurse, Abishola and is star struck. He likes how she says his name and enjoys her company. He looks at her socks and promises he’ll bring her socks when he is better. He brings her socks once he recovers and finds ways to spend time with her including riding the bus. We follow their journey of finding love.
