The paparazzi shared Billy Ellish’s pics wearing a tank top with shorts became the reason for nasty trolling. Here’s how the singer reacted to the troll.
Ellish is an 18-year-old singer, recognized for wearing baggy clothes because she does not want people to sexually abuse her. Ellish spoke several times about her clothes, her body, and the unreal standards of women in society. She was very conscious about her body from the beginning.
She also discussed incidents of body shaming “My boobs were trending on Twitter!” she exclaimed. “At number one! What is that?! Everyone wrote about my boobs!” “I look good in it,” “I was born with fucking boobs, bro. I was born with DNA that was gonna give me big-ass boobs.” She said that her breasts have embarrassed her various times in the past, and that’s why she covers them with a shirt.
Nowadays, the Grammy singer is in the headlines for her body and clothing. She revealed that she made baggy clothing a mode to hide her body, trying to counter the sexual abuse, embarrassment, and double standards of society for her as a celebrity as well as a young woman. Furthermore, she believes that until someone looks at your body, no one can give an opinion about it.
Billy Ellish has taken up the stand against body shaming with two Instagram posts after a photo of her was publicized online with obscene comments and captions.
Recently, Ellish reposted Chizi Duru’s TikTok video on Instagram Stories asking us to normalize the real body. Duru wrote in the caption that “Y’all gotta start normalizing real bodies, okay? Not everybody has a wagon behind them, okay? Guts are normal; they’re normal. Boobs sag, especially after breastfeeding. Instagram isn’t real.”
On Instagram, she uploaded a picture of herself in a tank top, which read, “Do you want to go back in time?” Eilish talks openly about body shamers and how her body and clothes reflect her personality and character.
