Bad Monkey is an upcoming Apple Tv series expected to premiere sometime this year. The show is created by Bill Lawrence and is based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen. The series focuses on a detective who gets demoted from his work and settles for another job but gets pulled into the detective world when a peculiar occurrence happens.

Bad Monkey Season 1 Release Date:
Unfortunately, a release date for the upcoming series is yet to be set, and we are yet to determine how soon the series will be available. The series order came in early 2021, and Apple announced they would develop a crime drama series with ten episodes.
Filming started in February 2022, and news had it that the show would receive a release before 2022 ended. Now that we are in 2023, the show might be released in early 2023 or mid-2023. The show will be available exclusively on Apple Tv, and you will need a subscription to binge on the upcoming show.
Bad Monkey Season 1 Plot:
The plot revolves around Andrew Yancy, a detective who gets demoted. Since he cannot do what he loves anymore, he decides to take another job as a restaurant inspector. However, a severed hand is discovered by a tourist one day, and he must pull his detective instincts up. Unknown to Yancy, the brewing cases will be like no other. He will be put in the center of a case fueled by greed and conspiracies. He will have to solve the cases between the two towns, Florida and the Bahamas.
Bad Monkey Season 1 Cast:
Vince Vaughn stars as Andre Yancy, the detective and the series protagonist. The actors have been featured in several shows and films, including Swingers and Rudy, the sports show. In the upcoming series, he will play the detective who gets reduced to an inspector in a hotel after a scandal ensues. Michelle Monaghan (Messiah) will be starring as Bonnie, the woman with an abusive past.
Jodie Turner-Smith (The Acolyte) plays Dragon Queen, an Obeah Practicing woman residing in the Bahamas. Meredith Hagner as Eve, one of the unfortunate victims, Rob Delaney (The Man Who Fell to Earth) as Christopher, Natalie Martinez (Ordinary Joe) as Rosa, L. Scott Caldwell as Yaya, and John Ortiz as Rogelio. Some of the recurring cast includes Charlotte Lawrence, who stars as Caitlin, the recovering addict, and Alex Moffat as Evan Shook, the real estate developer.
