Coming to the Peacock studios is the Peacock show Armas De Mujer, which will highlight a quad group of women who are forced to survive when suddenly their lives take a turn for the worst.
Created by Jose Luis Acosta, the Armas De Mujer series has been given an order recently by Peacock, and it is expected to premiere before the year 2023 ends. It focuses on the four women stripped of their husbands; life only gets tricky after that. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming peacock series.
Armas De Mujer Season 1 Release Date: When will it air?
As of September 2022, Peacock I has yet to give us a definite date when we should expect the dramedy’s first season. Most of their new shows are slated to be renewed in 2023, and we believe the show is one of them. The Armas series will be produced by Telemundo Studios, a studio known for producing most Mexican soap operas.
It will be shown by Marcos Santana, who also acts as the show’s executive producer alongside Marian Iskandarani. The series directors will be Enrique Begne, Claudia Pedraza, and e will update you if Peacock gives the exact date for the series premiere.
Armas De Mujer Season 1 Plot: What should we expect?
The upcoming series explores the themes of falling from grace to grass. It will highlight the lives of four women who are used to getting what they have without even breaking a sweat. All the luxuries and the good things they are used to, however, disappear when the police lock away their husbands for their engagement in criminal activities. The group of women is then forced to survive, even pushed to the extremities of using weapons to protect their safety and sanity.
Armas De Mujer Season 1 Cast: Who will be appearing?
Peacock recently released the drama’s casting, which features some of the most talented cast you already have an acquaintance with. It includes Roselyn Sanchez’s famous for casting in the Devious Maids and the Grand Hotel, Sylvia Saenz from Betty en NY, Jeimy Osorio from Betty en NY, and Kate Del Castillo (Bad Boys).
Del Castillo was the first to be announced, and she will be cast as Angel, the cartel’s accountant wife. She is also the leader of the women’s group, and her experience with guns will see her protect her girlfriends. Sanchez is set to portray Sofia, the wife of the cartel’s assassin, which explains her ruthlessness. Saenz will Play Viri, the wife to one of the high-ranking chiefs in the cartel, and Osorio will play Esme, the wife to the head assassin of the cartel and the most courageous and independent of all the four women.
Armas De Mujer Season 1 Trailer: When will it be out?
So far, we do not have the trailer for the Armas De Mujer series, and we will have to wait for the official announcement from Peacock.
