Zack Snyder has worked with Netflix to develop some of the most prolific series, and the collaboration is not stopping anytime soon. Currently, he is also working with Netflix to bring Twilight of the Gods series Netflix, and we can already tell it will be a hit based on his other series’ performance. The upcoming series will be based on Norse Mythology, and it will be developed under Zack Snyder and Jay Oliva production. Snyder will act as both the writer and executive producer of the show alongside Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco. Here is everything we know about the upcoming series.
Twilight of the Gods Season 1 Release Date: When will it be out?
Netflix is yet to announce when the Twilight of the God series will be released, and from the schedule, we doubt it will be this year. After the series announcement, it was assumed that it would be available for a 2022 release date, but that is not even an option. In April this year, Eric Carrasco tweeted that animation series development takes time, so fans would have to wait a little more as they develop the series to perfection. Therefore we do not have an accurate prediction, but we bet the series will be out by mid-2023.
Twilight of the Gods Season 1 Plot: What should we expect?
The Twilight of the Gods plot does not have much flesh to it, but in the announcement, Netflix revealed that it would be an animated series. The series is an adaptation of Norse Mythology, and Jack Snyder will be developing it. In Norse Mythology, a big event led to the destruction of the Olympian Gods, where the Twilight of the Gods got its name. The battle was against evil, and the Twilight of the Gods happened, wiping evil from the face of the earth. The series will focus on the evils before the Twilight happened and the Olympian kings. It will also focus on the order of the events, their impact, and how they influenced Ragnarok.
Twilight of the Gods Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?
Twilight of the Gods will feature some of the familiar faces you have seen in your favorite series. Coming to our screens is John Noble, who will be starring as Odin, and he is famous for his role as Denethor in Lord of the Rings. Peterson Joseph (That Dirty Black Bag) will star as Loki, Corey Stoll (Transatlantic) as Hrankfel, Jamie Chung (Mr. Corman) as Hel, Janie Clayton will play The Seid-Kona, Kristofer Hivju as Andbari, and Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) as Inge. Other casts include Peter Stormare, Pilous Asbaek, Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Stuart Martin (Miss Scarlet and the Duke), Sylvia Hoeks (See), and Jessica Henwick (Blood of Zeus).
Twilight of the Gods Season 1 Trailer: When will it be telecasted?
Until November 2022, Netflix has yet to give us the precise date of when the series trailer will be available. The series was slated for a 2022 release date, and now that we are less than 70 days to the end of the year, it is highly unlikely that we will get to see the trailer anytime soon. Depending on the series release schedule, a trailer might be available either in 2023 or 2024. As you wait for the Twilight of the Gods series to be released, there are other Snyder series on Netflix that you should check out. Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves, and Justice League are some of them.
