After months of teasing, Future and Lil Uzi Vert finally dropped their new album. The two rappers teamed up to create a new album titled Pluto x Baby Pluto, executively produced by DJ Esco. Rappers surprised fans with a video for “That’s It.” Hype Williams is the video director; you can watch it and listen to the album.
This is Lil Uzi’s second album of 2020, his Eternal Atake landed in March, and after a week, Lil Uzi dropped “LUV vs. The World 2.” Lil Uzi went on a break for almost three years, and his last album was “Luv Is Rage 2.” Lil Uzi has been pretty busy this year; he started hinting at the arrival of Eternal Atake at the end of 2019 and released a video in January for the single he released in 2019.
Since Eternal Atake’s first track release, Lil Uzi has been very busy; he appeared on many collaborative tracks. In February, he joined Juice WRLD on “PSTD,” G Herbo, and Chance the Rapper. He also had a guest spot on Lil Wayne’s album, Funeral, in May. Lil Uzi also worked with NoCap, Shy Glizzy, etc.
Future also released many singles this year, plus his album titled High Off Life. Many big names appeared on High Off Life, including Drake, Young Thug, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. Future also released the #MaskOn Campaign to provide face masks to the people who need them.
There are 16 tracks in the new album and a video for “That’s It,” you can see the rappers hanging out on a soccer field where the women’s soccer team is practicing in the background. On Wednesday, Lil Uzi Vert took to Instagram, he posted a trailer for Pluto x Baby Pluto. In the clip, the duo was talking about going to another planet, going to Pluto.
On 20th September, DJ Esco dropped a teaser trailer on YouTube titled “Astronauts.” The teaser featured Lil Uzi and Future in a recording studio. These rappers have joined forces to deliver this album after releasing their own individual albums this year.
