The Girl from Plainville is a new Hulu series that will follow a true-crime narrative from Massachusetts eight years ago. Elle Fanning stars as Michelle Carter and a woman found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after sending a series of texts that led to a boy’s suicide. Hulu confirmed the series’ release date on 29 March. The Girl from Plainville also has a teaser trailer on Hulu. The teaser begins with Michelle entering her parents’ living room, distressed, to inform them that Conrad Roy (played by Colton Ryan) has died, to which they respond, “Who’s Connor?” Moreover, the short teaser emphasizes Michelle’s and Conrad’s relationship. 8. Welcome to Flatch

Michael Cera, Susannah Flood, Violet Young, Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, and Michael Rapaport feature in the comedy, which opens March 18 with all ten episodes available at the same time. The series follows Beth (Schumer), whose life appears to be perfect on paper, as she appears to have it all—a profession, a city, and a man. But when a startling occurrence occurs, Beth is forced to confront her history, and her life is permanently changed. “Beth starts to learn how she got who she is and who she wants to become” through flashbacks to her teen past, according to the series synopsis. 

In addition, Michael Cera plays Beth’s love interest, and the farmer, John and Michael Rapaport (Atypical) play her father, in addition to Schumer and Young. Mimi Cave’s directorial debut, Fresh, is a 2022 American thriller film based on a script by Lauryn Kahn. Daisy Edgar-Jones (War Of The Worlds) and Sebastian Stan (Pam and Tommy) feature in the film. Fresh had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2022, and is set to be broadcast on Hulu by Searchlight Pictures on March 4, 2022. The perils of modern dating as seen through the eyes of one young woman’s brave effort to withstand her new boyfriend’s strange desires. 

In addition, According to the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film earned positive reviews from 84 percent of the 79 critics polled, with an average rating of 7.10/10. “As compelling as it is disturbing, Fresh makes a fascinating meal out of the tragedy of modern dating,” says the site’s critical consensus.
