HBO has released some fantastic series over the years. One of the newly released series, The Sex Lives of College Girls, is a teen drama streaming on that platform. The series was created with Mindy Kaling in collaboration with Justin Noble. Mindy Kaling (Never Have I Ever), the American actress, and screenwriter got famous after starring in “The Office (2000-2013)”. The award-winning actress has featured in many series and produced several others, such as “The Mindy Project.” The series has only been out for one month. So far, it has a rating of 7.5/10 on IMDb, indicating that the whole team that took part in the series production did an impressive job. The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Release Date: Is it renewed for second installment?
The first series premiered on HBO on 18th November 2021, with only two episodes streaming. Three more episodes were released on 25th November and another three on 2nd December. The final two episodes then featured a week later, on 9th December. Fans are beyond elated as the news of the series renewal came two days before the last two episodes’ premiere.
Just in time for the finale episode of season 1 on December 7, HBO has confirmed the college drama for season 2.

We could expect the second season to have ten episodes released in bits, just like in the first season. The series renewal was recently announced; therefore, there is no specific release date for when the series will be released. Considering the first season was in production for almost a year, we expect the second series to show on HBO in 2022.
The Sex Lives of College Girls season 2 is scheduled to return in 17th November, although HBO Max has not yet announced when it will launch.

We expect the four teenage campus girls reprising to their roles in the second season. Pauline Chaamet plays Kimberly, a work-study student from Arizona’s white community. Amrit Kaur plays Bella, an Indian-American pro-sexual student who has a passion for writing. Renee Rap plays Leighton, a closeted lesbian student from New York. Alyah Chanelle Scott plays Whitney, the U.S seniors’ daughter, a footballer having an affair with the assistant coach. We also expect the family of the four main casts to be back for the second season. A possibility of new cars featuring in the second season is also possible.

The season finale ended on quite a high note. Kimberly managed to get tests from Theta and used them during her academic hearing, which surprisingly worked. Despite her not getting expelled from school, she did not get her scholarship, making it hard to survive in Essex. After breaking up with Alicia, Leighton came clean to Kimberly about her sexual orientation. Bella and the other writers started their comedy show after quitting Catullan. With Whitney telling her mom of her affair with the coach, we could expect the story to progress in the next episode. We could also expect more light to be shed on Kimberly’s future in Essex.
