The Girl in The Mirror is an upcoming Spanish series that tells the story of a schoolgirl who has to start her life all over again after surviving a car crash. Created by Sergio G. Sanchez, Netflix first announced the series development in 2018, but it is yet to premiere on Netflix, which leads to the question; will we ever see the series debut, or will we have to be content with the already released plot? News of the series development was first made by Netflix four years ago in 2018, and it was only two years later in 2020 when filming started at different locations in Austria. It is yet to be confirmed whether filming is still ongoing if it is in the preproduction stage and when the series premiere, but the screaming channel remains to be Netflix. The drama series is expected to have eight episodes, each telling the story of Alma’s daily struggle in remembering her past.

Screams from the students, victims struggling for air, ambulances being called to the accident scene, exasperated parents and families crying for the loved ones seem to be the series of events after the crash. Alma, A student, survives a car crash that robs most of her classmates but she is also not left unscathed as she loses her memory.
Her parents seem like two strangers to her, who keep secrets and have a mysterious past, which she does not remember. Over time Alma suspects that everybody around her is hiding secrets, trying to make her forget and become a new person, completely different from the Alma she was. Trapped in a world that doesn’t seem so familiar, she has to do everything possible to regain her memory.

The series directors include Belen Atienza, Jesus De la Vega and Sanra Hermida. Mireia Oriol (The Pact, 2018) plays Alma, the series protagonist who loses her memory due to a tragic accident. She plays alongside Alex Villazan, Pol Monen as Bruno, Claudia Roset, Javia Morgde, Milena Smit as Nico, Kandido Uranga, Elena Iruteta Aurora, Marta Belaustegui, Josean Bengoetxea, Maria Caballero, Mario Tardon as Carlos.
The Girl in The Mirror Season 1 Trailer: When will it be out?
A prevue for the upcoming series is yet to be released by the official Channel, and since there is no specific date for when the series will premiere, it may be sometime before we get a glimpse of what remains in Alma’s life. The series trailer will probably have a crashing bus, scenes at the hospitals, and Alma trying to get back to her old life, a speculation that is yet to be confirmed.
