HBO has been home to one of the most popular dramas that have got fans by a chokehold. House of the Dragon, Euphoria, Six Feet Under, Deadwood and Big Little Lies remain among the best drama show ever premiered on the Network. However, this does not mean HBO is about to relax on its content just because they have pioneered some of the best TV series.
Lately, they have also been investing in the comedy genre, and one of the series, a comedy series that was recently given order, is The Franchise series.
The series comes from the creator of Veep, a show that has been doing exceptionally well on HBO. The Veep show, highly satirized, was an eye-opening way to look at DC, and we hope that the upcoming series, The Franchise, will be just as eye-opening.
The Franchise Season 1 Release Date: When is The Franchise Season 1 released?
So far, we do not even have the cast appearing in the series, all the reasons to believe that the show is still in its premiere stages. The show might never even come to actualize, and it won’t be the first time considering other shows like the Game of Thrones spinoff went under the mud.
However, considering the importance that the show has been given, it is highly unlikely that it will also go under, and the high chance is that we will see it sooner than later. The realistic timeline for the series premiere is one year. This might be sometime in 2023 if we are lucky enough or maybe in 2024. Patience will have to do the trick.
The Franchise Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?
The Franchise show is still in its early stages; therefore, we do not know who will be casting in it. We can, however, put together a potential list of all the actors that might blow our breaths away with their outstanding performances when the series premieres.
The series director Armando Iannucci (Avenue 5) has consistently worked together with Sam Mendes. With this in mind, we can’t ignore that Mendes loves working with Simon Russell Beale, and he might be the number one suggestion that comes to mind when you hear Mendes’s name.
It is only logical to assume that Beale Might future in the series, but since all of this is wishful thinking, we will have to wait for the series creators to confirm whether he will be in or not. If he is not, they will automatically provide us with the names of the actors flying The Franchise flag high.
The Franchise Season 1 Plot: What will happen?
Like the release date and the cast, little is known about the Franchise plot. Series. All there is to know is that the series plot will be a satire on The Hollywood entertainment industry, and it might include the sins, the vices or an actual depiction of how the Hollywood industry is. Something not as pleasant but need to be known by the public.
