Paramount has been out for a long time, commissioning series and shows, and most likely, that is not stopping anytime soon. Some of the series they have commissioned recently is Flat share, a UK show, Gentleman In Moscow, one of Kenneth Branagh’s show, the remake of the sexy beast and many other dramas from both the United States and Korea.
The show has been expanding its content to the internationals, which explains the worldwide commissioning of series, including the recently ordered show, The Blue. Written by Kris Mrksa (White House Farm), the Blue series stars two friends running away from the police. However, they soon realize they are in hot soup than they initially were and have to do anything possible to get out of the “refuge ship” alive.
The Blue Season 1 Release Date: When will it be telecast?
So far, we do not have a specific release date for The Blue show. However, the network has revealed that filming will start in spring and have seven episodes. The show, directed by Hans Herbots, will be filming in Thailand later this year, but first, they will have to with the additional cast announcement that is expected to come in anytime from now.
Since the series order was given out in 2022, the earliest we can expect the series to premiere is by mid-2023 or before the year ends. The streamer will update us on when filming starts and stops and at what time we should expect the show’s first season.
The Blue Season 1 Plot: What will happen next?
When asked about his sentiments on the upcoming show, Sebastian Cardwell, Paramount’s Deputy Chief Content, said that the show is a mix of intrigue and an escape. He further added that the ensemble cast from both the UK and international talent would see to the perfect execution of the show.
The Blue series follows two best friends, Lana and Kitty, who have to seek refuge away from the Police. Together they find a place away from the police on a romantic yacht named the Blue. The Blue is a yacht consisting of beautiful people on a journey from South East Asia who lives in luxury and is hell-bent on touring the earth. Soon enough, however, the two realized it was not just roses and violets. The yacht contains some dangerous secrets that will cost the lives of some of the passengers on board.
The Blue Season 1 Cast: Who will be part of it?
So far, Paramount has announced five casts that will premiere on the drama. Abigail Lawrie and Rhianne Barreto (The Outlaws) will be starring as the two best friends seeking refuge in the yacht away from the police. The two will be joined by Sean Keenan, Jay Ryan, and Jake Macapagal. Paramount is expected to name another additional cast before or after filming starts, and we will be diligent enough to keep you updated.
The Blue Season 1 Trailer: When will it happen?
The series has not yet started filming; therefore, the trailer does not currently exist. The trailer will be available once the series filming is done and the series is almost premiering. Paramount has many series coming out in 2022 that might interest you.
