When Lucy tells her mother that she does not need to please anyone now that she is in college, little does she know that the opposite will be her mantra. Lucy is the lead character and the series protagonist of the newly released Hulu series, Tell Me Lies. As the show title suggests, the series revolves around two toxic characters who use each other for their benefit. Created by Meghan Oppenheimer, the series is an adaptation of her novel of the same name set at Baird College. Tell Me Lies Season 2 Plot:
Ā The series’ plot revolves around a toxic relationship that proves dangerous in the long run. It tells the story of Lucy, a young girl smitten by Stephen, the walking red flag. She, however, chooses to ignore just how wrong he is for her as she is completely fascinated by him. Loving him sets her on one of the most derailing paths ever, a path she chose for herself. The first season ended with Stephen betraying her, and the second season could explore how she plans to get her revenge. The second season could also explore where Lucy will be willing to admit that she was in the wrong and should not have gotten involved with Stephen.
Tell Me Lies Season 1 Review:
According to Decider, Despite the Tell me lies series being well-acted, the characters are awful and toxic and something that should not be commended. Since the relationship between the two keeps worsening, they recommend you skip the show.
Tell Me Lies Season 2 Cast:
Grace Van Patten is cast as Lucy Albright, the series protagonist. The actress has been featured in many other shows, including Tramps and The Meyerowitz, the Netflix shows. She has also been featured in Huluās series, including The Nine Perfect Strangers. The actress is cast alongside Jackson White as Stephen Demarco, Catherine Missal as Bree, Spencer House as Wrigley, Sonia Mena as Pippa, Branden Cook as Evan, Benjamin Wadsworth as Drew, and Alicia Crowder as Diana. We do not know the cast featured in the show’s second season, but all the first season casts will reprise their roles.
