If you have ever thought of this at any point in your life without getting a distinct answer then the studded actress Issa Rae (Insecure) and her battalion got answers for you. Based on Cecelia Ahern’s bests selling Novel, the anthology series tells the story of eight women who have undergone different types of prejudices at some point in their life.
What makes it even more relatable is that they are not scenarios that are completely new to our eyes but the same old issues told in such a magical way to express the dilemmas women have to undergo through. And why? Because that is how it should feel like to be a woman.

The first season premiered on the 15th of April and barely a month later fans cannot wait to get an official statement that the anthology series will be coming back for the second season. In as much as Apple TV is yet to announce whether we will get a second season, the sees rated a 75% on rotten tomatoes and it might just be back for another refreshing season. The first season had eight episodes each starring a different star and a different stereotype and in case of renewal, we should expect another eight episodes telling different stories.

The show offers views and insightful statements on how it is to be a woman the society, It mostly focuses on the women who have made it in the Hollywood industries and the statements they have heard and been told over time, the prejudices that come with being a black and accomplished woman in the society, It features different but the same old stories ranging from domestic to professional and the futuristic world.
The stories told by the eight characters coincidentally mirror the dilemmas that eve woman faces daily and the resiliency they have to put in their journeys as women. Since the series is an anthology, the next season may focus on different stories and different characters. Before an official confirmation, we cannot be so sure.

The GLOW creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch have come together once again to produce one of the most notorious Feminist fables. The two have awards including the Emmy and chances are that there are more wards for them.
