It has been an exciting venture for all the Rick and Morty fans, as just after the sixth season of the show premiered a while back, the writers are already working on the seventh season of the show. Another exciting news is that the co-creator of the adult sci-fi series will be bringing yet another new animated show, and so far, there is no greater time to be alive for Rick and Morty fans.
Earlier, Alex Rubens, Rick and Morty’s writer, revealed on Twitter that they are already working on the show’s seventh season, and it might be released sooner than we expect. The following are all the updates we could gather about the ongoing adult animated show.
Rick and Morty Season 7 Release Date: When will it air?
The announcement of the seventh season writing came out barely a month ago, and so far, there is no set a date for the release of the show’s seventh season. The creators have released two seasons in a year; the fifth season was released on February 5th, and the sixth on September 6th.
The sixth season episodes are expected to be aired weekly on E4, and we do not know whether they will have a season break as they did in the fourth season’s release. If there is no break, we should expect Juricksic Mort, the tenth episode, to be out by October 31st. If the series schedule goes as the past two series did, then the earliest we should expect the seventh season to be released is by mid-2023.
Rick and Morty Season 7 Plot: What will happen next?
The seventh season of the Rick and Morty show is yet to be released as the series writing is still in development. It will, however, depend on how the show’s fifth and sixth seasons ended. The fifth season ended in a cliffhanger as Morty destroyed Rick’s citadel and obliterated the Finite curve. The finite curve was the only sure way Rick used to ward off any realities and possibilities of having a guy more intelligent than him in the whole universe. The sixth season is still releasing, and it is not until the tenth episode premiere that we will know what is in store for us in the seventh season.
Rick and Morty Season 7 Cast: Who’ll be in it?
The seventh season will have the show’s regulars that have been the series’ highlights since the first season premiered. Rick Sanchez, voiced by Justin Roiland, plays a genius scientist and an alcoholic whose experiments are the series’ biggest plot. Justin Roiland also voices Morty, Rick’s grandson and his accomplice. Other characters include Jerry Smith, voiced by Chris Parnell. Summer Smith, voiced by Spencer Grammer, and Beth Smith, voiced by Sarah Chalke.
Rick and Morty Season 7 Trailer: When can we watch it?
The seventh season’s trailer is yet to be released; it might take a while before it is officially released. If you did not watch the fifth season, then this is the time to do so. You can also watch the show’s sixth season as it premieres weekly. If you are in the US, you can watch the series on Adult Swim. The series is also available on HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon.
