Currently, Wentworth Miller has officially announced the news that he will not be a part of the upcoming season of Prison Break. Behind this department, it’s his reason that he will not be going to play Straight characters as a gay actor.
Recently, he posted this news on Instagram in which he wrote that he is officially retiring from the Prison Break series’ character, Michael. In 2005, the series debuted on Fox and then ran up to 2009.
Then it returned with the new season in 2017. In 2005 when this Prison Break was created under the direction of Paul Scheuring, it got excellent reviews from the audiences. As featured by Wentworth Miller in the series, Michael’s character comes along with Dominic Purcell as his brother, who was needed to get out of Prison.
Both the characters reprised their role in the first five seasons, but the actor denied playing straight characters when it comes to the sixth season. His recent Instagram post depicted as there is no more Michael in the continuous story. He also felt sorry for his fans who beloved him as an actor.
It was such a heart-touching and personal post in which this 48 years old actor expressed his views and urged for supported positive words from his followers. Now it is crystal clear that but Micheal is not going to play Straight roles. As being a gay man, he wanted to act more in gay characters. However, he apologized to his fan but also asked them to feel him thoroughly.
