Fans of the Poker Face series have all the reasons to rejoice as the series has been renewed for another thrilling season. Created by Rian Johnson, the series explores the life of Lyonne, a woman with the unique ability to discern a truthful statement and a facade. The series’ first season has blown up, and Susan Rovner, the Chairman of Entertainment at NBC, expressed that they expected the show to do well but did not expect the insane number of views. The series has a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and some of its fame could have been contributed by the fact that Rian, the series creator, has made some of the most successful thriller shows, including Knives Out and Glass Onion. Poker Face Season 2 Release Date: When will it air?
The series renewal came shortly after the first season premiered, so production is impossible to have started. We are also yet to be updated on the number of episodes the show’s second season will entail. It will probably contain 10 episodes. With new news Season 2 is going to be released in 2024. The set was back because of ongoing strikes of writers by the Writers Guild of America.
Poker Face Season 2 Plot: What will Happen?
The series plot revolves around Charlie Cale, the series protagonist who can determine whether someone is telling the truth or now. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and sets on an adventure. Each episode focuses on the different characters she meets. She also comes across mysterious dilemma problems, a crime that she has to solve. Unfortunately, we have not determined the second season’s plot, but we are sure it will follow the first season’s finale.
Poker Face Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
Natasha Lyonne stars as Charlie Cale, the series protagonist. The Emmy award nominee has worked in several series, including the recently released Russian Doll on Netflix. She is also a talented actor and director and has received several nominations for doing well at directing. The actress is cast alongside Benjamin Bratt as Cliff, Cloe Sevigny as Ruby, Dascha Polanco, Adrien Brody, Danielle McDonald, Ellen Barkin, and Simon Hellberg. So far, the second season casts remain a mystery, but we are sure that Lyonne will be reprising her role as the lead. Other casts will come as a surprise.
Season 1 Review:
According to Decider, the Poker face series is an excellent show and deserves a stream. If you love Mystery shows like Knives out, then you will find the series interesting and intriguing the series also has the right creators and casts, and the plot is chef’s kiss. The series also has a rating of 8.1/10 on IMDB, which translates to an excellent show.
Poker Face Season 2 Trailer: When can we watch it?
A trailer for Poker Face season 2 is yet to be released, and unfortunately, the series trailer will not be coming out anytime soon. The season one episode is still releasing, and the second season’s production will not start until mid-year. The earliest you should expect a trailer of the Poker Face series is either late this year or in 2024.
