CBS has canceled the relaunched Magnum PI series after four seasons. As a result, the current season finale, which was broadcast season finale in May in the United States, has been renamed the series finale.

After the discontinuation of “Magnum P.I.” at CBS in May after the season 4 premiere, NBC has renewed two seasons of the series. The network has ordered 20 latest episodes of “Magnum P.I.,” with a possibility for more, to be split between Seasons 5 and 6.

Season 4 of CBS’s revival of the famous 1980s action series premiered in October 2021.

On NBC, however, that 7.3 million viewers would place fifth across all current series, ahead of Law & Order and #OneChicago while following La Brea.

Undoubtedly, Jay Hernandez is returning to the show reprising his role ad Thomas Magnum. Juliet Higgins will also return to stay by his side as Perdita Weeks. Zachary Knighton will be back for his role as a former Marine, Orville Wright. Stephen Hill will play Magnum’s team member and a Marine veteran named Theodore Calvin.

We are expecting most of the cast to return for season 5, The show will also feature Amy Hill, Tim Kang, James Remar, and Ken Jeong as Teuila Tuileta, Detection Gordon Katsumoto, Captain Buck Greene and Luther H. Gillie respectively.
