Crazy Rich Asians actor Henry Golding shared the good news through an Instagram post with a couple’s picture in which he pointed to his wife, Liv Lo’s baby bump. He captioned the post ‘2021 is already looking brighter’ and added a heart and baby emoji.
Liv Lo is a fitness guru, also posted a similar image on her Instagram in which she wore a tight grey gown spotlighting her baby bump. She captioned “Such immense joy this little one has brought us already. Now we get to share it with you! We love you!”
In 2016, the two got married after five years of meeting at a friend’s party on New Year’s Day. Previously, Henry talked about his first meeting with PEOPLE, “When you first meet a person, there is always a little magic, but it doesn’t happen to you.”
The Gratulatory comments have already begun, including director Paul Feig, who directed Golding in A Simple Favor and Last Christmas. Feig commented, “Oh my god!!! So happy for you both!” with three hearts emoji. Other celebrities who have congratulated the couple on the good news include actresses Olivia Munn, Freida Pinto, and Samara Weaving.
