The Glamorous series, which CBS initially ordered, has been taken up by Netflix. The show was ordered on CBS two years ago, but it was unavoidable that CBS could not go with the movie and had to pass it to Netflix. Almost three years after the show announcement was made, it is finally getting a release released.
The show has received a 10-episode order, and Miss Benny is set to star in the upcoming show. Written and executively produced by Jordon Nardino, the series tells the life of Miss Betty, a queer man whose fate doesn’t seem right for him. He is, however, surprised when he receives a contract to work for the makeup mogul he has looked up to all his life.

So far, we do not know when Netflix plans to release the series, but we hope the announcement will come soon enough. Filming originally started on July 12th, and since it is expected to run until November, there are still chances that the Glamorous series might be released before the year ends. The series has been ordered for ten episodes, so post-production might take time. If we’re being sincere, there are slight chances that the series will be releasing in 2022, but we could never know. Our precise guess is that the series will be on Netflix by early 2023.
Glamorous Season 1 Plot
For a long time, Netflix has been expanding its content on the LGBTQIA community, and the Glamorous series is one of them. From the released synopsis, the series will tell the story of Miss Bett, a non-conforming queer man who believes he has no luck. He feels like he is not making any progress and has nothing good coming. All this is reversed when he finally lands a job, working side by side with the makeup big wig Madolyn Addison. It is the first time Benny’s life is going as planned, which comes with many responsibilities.He finally has the chance to figure out everything he has ever wanted; what works for him and what does not. He undergoes a moment of self-reflection, and slowly but steadily, he gets to them, learning what it means to be queer in the current society.

She will be playing the famous makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, Marco Mejia will be playing Moss Benny, the non-conforming queer man, Zane Phillips as Chad, Jay Payton as Venetia, Michael Hsu as Ben, Ayesha Harris as Britt, Graham Parkhurst as Parker, Diana Maria as Julia, Lisa Gilroy as Alyssa says, Mark Deklin as James, and Ricardo Chavira as Teddy.
