Ariana Grande is now engaged!
The singer, 27, shared the information on her engagement to her life partner Dalton Gomez on Sunday, posting a series of pictures on Instagram that include a photograph of her new jewel engagement ring.
“Forever n then some,” she subtitled the post. They couldn’t be more joyful and so energized. It is a glad time for the couple. Both the sets of guardians are excited,” a source told PEOPLE of Grande and Gomez, who is a real land engagement.
Grande and Gomez’s relationship is her first open romance since she finished her engagement to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson in 2018.
The Beginning:
In March, a source disclosed to PEOPLE that Gomez and Grande had been dating since January. Recently saw the pair kissing in a Northridge, California, bar in February. TMZ provided details regarding the trip and was the first to confirm Gomez as Grande’s new man.
A different insider told PEOPLE at the time that the two were isolating together at the singer’s Los Angeles home.
“Ariana is remaining at home with friends. She is intense about self-distancing and has been with a similar gathering of people for quite a long time,” the insider said. “One of the people she is with just presently is Dalton — they have been hanging out for a few months. Ariana would not like to do another public relationship, so she attempts to keep this one calm. However, she appears to be fruitful with Dalton.”
‘Stuck with U’ Music Video:
In May, Gomez showed up in the music video for Grande and Justin Bieber’s hit two-part duet “Stuck with U,” which included clasps of fans and celebrities rehearsing social distancing during the novel (COVID-19) pandemic.
In the video, Grande and Gomez pleasantly twirled, danced, and hugged as they streaked big smiles at each other. The song was significantly more important for Grande as continues from the sales and surges of “Stuck with U” went scholarships awards and grants for offspring of people on call who have been affected by COVID-19 in partnership with the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
Grande, at last, made her romance with Gomez Instagram official in June to commend her 27th birthday celebration, sharing a gallery that included photographs and recordings of her dogs, a childhood photo, and a sweet picture of the upbeat couple.
“Just about 27 J,” she inscribed the series of photographs.
The singer raved about her now-life partner back on his birthday in August.
“Hbd to my baby my best friend my fav part of the relative multitude of days J I love u,” she captioned on Instagram. Grande, who will be delivering her Netflix documentary Excuse Me, I Love You on Dec. 21, was showered with affection from her loved ones in the wake of reporting her engagement.

Her mom additionally shared a congratulatory tweet. “I am very excited to welcome Dalton Gomez to our family! Ariana, I love you and Dalton so much!!!! Here’s to joyfully ever after! Yahoo! Xoxoxo,” Joan Grande wrote.
