Animaniacs, an animated series presented by the one and only Steven Spielberg, is getting a reboot from Hulu. The series sets to return later this fall. As a unique form of celebrating the show’s 27th anniversary, Hulu released a behind-the-scenes work for the cast at work. The show is a reboot of the classic 1990s cartoon that Spielberg produced alongside Sam Register, Warner Bros Animation president. The co-presidents of Amblin TV, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey are also among the producers and Gabe Swarr. The series’ first debuted in 1993, running for five seasons before ending in 1998. From then, it became one of the most-watched animated series for children launching various spin-offs such as Pinky and the Brain. Notably, the show set a record for the most Daytime Emmy Awards winning three times.

It is not strange that the series also managed to garner a lot of adult fans, given its balance of humor, pop culture, and education references.
