The upcoming show is based on a Gimlet podcast of the same name and follows the life of Dolores Roach, a woman who has served her life in prison and comes back home to make time for the years she has spent in prison. However, she returns home to find that everything has changed, and she does not know where to locate her family or boyfriend.
What remains of where she used to stay in the Empanada Loca storefront, and she cannot even realize. In an attempt to get her old life back, Delores has to reunite with Luis, her long-time buddy, who gives her a place to crush as she gets her life together. Delores starts a massage business in Luis’s basement, and in an attempt to get her life back, she will have to fight some battles.
Horror of Dolores Roach Season 1 Cast: Who will appear?
The series cast came in two announcements; Justina Machado, Alejandro Hernandez, Kita Updike, and K. Todd Freeman. Machado will be playing the series protagonist and is famous for featuring in the One Day at a Time series. On the other hand, Hernandez has acted in Gotham, The Spectacular Tito Garcia. Etc. Other casts include Marc Maron (Glow), who will be cast as Gideon Pearlman, Luis and Dolores’s landlord. Judy Reyes (Better Things) will be cast as Marcie. The neighborhood weed peddler soon enough becomes rivals with Dolores. Jean Yoon plays Joy, the Laundromat’s owner, and Jeffery Self plays an upcoming influencer and Dolores regular.
