We expect most of the Schimagadoon cast to come back to reprise their roles. Keegan Micheal, who plays as Josh and Cecily Strong as Melissa, will be back for the second season. The status of their relationship is what will determine if other members will be back for the second season. A main supporting cast is likely to be back irrespective of whether their relationship hits the rocks. Ariana Debose, Dove Cameron as Betsy, Fred Armisen as Reverend Howard., Aaron Tveit, and Jaine Camile as Doc Jorge. Lopez, a stubborn doctor who is also a widow. We could expect new faces to feature in the show.
Schimagadoon Season 2 Plot: What should we expect?
We saw Josh and Melissa try to mend their broken relationships throughout the six episodes. However, in the season finale, the two walked towards the bridge after the third reconciliation. Since the series ended before we saw what happened right after, it is hard to determine whether the two got home or the ship sunk before it started. We could expect the season to highlight the couple’s destinies in the second season. If the two remain in Schimagadoon, we could expect two sides of the story explaining what it has taken them to make it ok. We should also expect a new couple if the two manage to reach their happily ever after.
