“Young Royals,” a Netflix Original, combines the royal intrigue of “The Crown” with typical teen melodrama. And the combination has generated a lot of excitement since its premiere on July 1, 2021. There have been few criticisms of the series because international productions are sometimes seen as uncommercial in the United States. Moreover, it is a teen drama that feels like it could be telling a true story.
The six-episode first and second season set the stage for a third season, but is Netflix interested in bringing “Young Royals” back? The show hasn’t been renewed yet, but there appears to be enough enthusiasm for the service to bring it back.
Here’s all we perceive about Season 3 of “Young Royals,” including the release date, cast, and plot.
Young Royals Season 3 Release Date: When will it Come to our Screen?
The first season of “Young Royals” was released in July 2021. The second season debuted in November 01, 2022. While waiting for a whole another year of 2023, it now conformed with debut date of March 2024.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic the production was delayed. However, shows are now taking lengthier gaps between seasons, which means “Young Royals” could take a little longer to make if schedules work out that way. But no worry the third season of “Young Royals” is reading this summer of 2024.
On November 1, Netflix will release Young Royals season two. The streaming service announced the change on Twitter at the end of September, and it’s quite exciting.
Young Royals Season 3 Cast: Who’s on board?
Most of the regular cast members of “Young Royals” are expected to return for the second season of the teen drama. Moreover, the cast, which may be a reprise in the second season, includes Edvin Ryding as Prince Wilhelm, Omar Rudberg as Simon Eriksson, Malte Grdinger as August of Arnas, Wilhelm’s second cousin. In addition Florida Argento as Sara Eriksson, Nikita Uggla as Felice Ehrencrona, Pernilla August as Queen Kristina of Sweden, and Ingela Olsson as Hillerska Headmistress Anette Lilja.
Ivar Forsling, who played Prince Erik, the Crown Prince, and Wilhelm’s brother, is unlikely to return because he sadly died in the first installment. It won’t be as an ordinary character; instead, he’ll most likely appear in flashbacks or various ways to other characters.
Young Royals Season 3 Trailer: When can we watch it?

Young Royals Season 3 Expected Plot: What will happen?
Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) is the main character of the story. It’s a teen monarch whose propensity for getting into mischief, including going global in a fistfight, has him committed to boarding school against his will. Moreover, Wille, the prince’s nickname, must navigate his new surroundings while coping with royal duties and, to his surprise, falling in love with his classmate Simon (Omar Rudberg).
We may expect the emotional consequences from the events of Season 1, such as Crown Prince Erik’s death and Wilhelm and Simon’s breakup after their sex tape was published, to continue in the second season. Wille, like Audrey in “Roman Holiday,” chose responsibility for love this season. If the two still have feelings for each other, that could alter.
Because of Erik’s death, there will almost probably be more storyline next season, as Wilhelm is now the successor to the throne, making his royal responsibilities an even bigger part of his life. However, we’ll provide you with a complete illustration of the story once Netflix releases the official trailer Young Royals Season 3.
