12 scars is an upcoming crime shows that will be helmed by Jamie Linden, the 10 years movie creator. Netflix will partner with Aggregate Films, 6th, Idaho, and Legendary Television to bring the new crime drama series to our screens. Netflix has ordered eight episodes, and from the plot, they have provided, the series will blend Netflix’s famous drama Ozark and Paper Moon, a 1973 crime drama show. Since the series announcement, Netflix has not provided any other updates on the series’ casting and its filming location or when filming will ever start. This leaves us with the question; is the series ever being adapted?
12 Scars Season 1 Release Date: When will it air?
Unfortunately, Netflix is yet to give the date when the 12 scars series will be released. The series’ initial filming schedule was to start production in June and run up to October, but seemingly the plans changed. We do not know when the production of the eight-episode series will start, and at the moment, 2023 looks like the ideal date. If the series is still coming to our screens, then the earliest you should expect the 12 scars series is by 2024.
12 Scars Season 1 Plot: What will happen?
The series has been compared to Ozark, as the two have similar plots. In Ozark, the family deals in money laundering, which is not so different than the 12 Scars series. 12 scars follow the life of Samuel Hayley, the single dad involved with the crime world.
However, he is determined to start on a new page and to have a fresh start, and he has to change locations. Louise, his daughter, also wants to have a father he can trust and not get detained; therefore, it is a long overdue move. They decide to move to Massachusetts, but soon enough, they realize that the past is haunting them and they will have to lay low for the longest time, maybe their whole life.
12 Scars Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?
As of October, no casting announcements have been made, and we do not know how soon they will come. No directors have also been attached to the upcoming project. Therefore, the series’ progress is also in question. However, we know that Jamie Linden will serve as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer. He is best known for the 10 years movie he both wrote and directed. He also wrote the Money Master Dear John, and We Are Marshall shows. The casting announcement may come either before or early next year.
12 Scars Season 1 Trailer: When can we watch it?
The 12 Scars Netflix series is yet to get a teaser or trailer, and we do not know when the trailer will be coming. Filming was initially scheduled to wrap up in October, but since no updates have been given, it won’t be surprising if it doesn’t come to pass.
