What’s New On Disney Plus in May 2022!

Disney+ subscribers will soon enjoy a slew of new content, including a few long-awaited releases that have been eagerly anticipated for May 2022. The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will premiere on May 27, will be available on the service. Ewan McGregor (Halston) will recapitulate his role as a Jedi Knight and reveal what happened to him between Episode IV: A New Hope and Order 66. 8. Bad Boys

The upcoming Ms. Marvel series for Disney Plus has acquired Bad Boys For Life filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to its helming lineup. Known as Kamala Khan in the comics, Ms. Marvel is a Pakistani teenage girl who is also an Inhuman and the first Muslim character to have her series in the Marvel Universe. The character specifically idolizes Caral Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, and took up the name to tribute to her favorite hero. Last year it was formally reported that a Ms. Marvel series was in development at Disney Plus. Since then, all we’ve had are rumors about who might be joining the cast. However, we now know who will be in charge of the project’s direction.

7. D. Wade: Life Unexpected

Filmmaker and close friend of Dwyane Wade, Bob Metelus, directs and produces D. Wade: Life Unexpected, a documentary about Wade’s final season in the NBA, in which he examines his on-and-off-court experiences, as well as his personal and professional triumphs and failures throughout his illustrious career. Newly unearthed home movies, private video diaries, and verité material taken over a decade form the basis of the film. 5. Alice’s Wonderland Bakery: Season One

A computer-animated television series based on the 1951 Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland, Alice’s Wonderland Bakery aired on Disney Junior on February 9, 2022, and is produced by Disney Television Animation. On the same day as the premiere, the first six episodes of the series were made available on Disney+ in select countries early. The series follows Alice, a teenage baker at the Wonderland Bakery, the great-granddaughter of the real Alice Pleasance Liddell. Fergie, the white rabbit, Hattie, and Rosa, the Princess of Hearts, accompany her on her culinary journeys around the realm.

It has a teapot form. Some of Wonderland Bakery’s kitchen equipment is animated, including the oven and mixer. Anyone entering the bakery’s pantry will seem as though they are floating in space because it is a vertical tunnel with shelves on either side where the bakery’s ingredients are stored.

4. The Chicken Squad: Season One

A new children’s television series based on Doreen Cronin’s Chicken Squad books, The Chicken Squad, launched in May of 2021 on Disney Junior. Yvette Nicole Brown, Ramone Hamilton, Gabriella Graves, and Maxwell Simkins are cast members of the television series. Renee Sands, a former Kids Incorporated star, sings the show’s theme song. An animated television series based on Doreen Cronin’s best-selling children’s book series follows a trio of young chicken siblings who utilize teamwork and critical thinking abilities to solve problems and maintain peace in their neighborhood.

3. The Wizard Of Paws: Season Two

As an animal orthotist, the story goes about Derrick Campana, who manufactures prosthetics for pets and sanctuary animals on the BYU TV reality show The Wizard of Paws. The first season aired in April 2020, while the second season launched in 2021. The show is licensed to Nat Geo Wild. Campana began working on human prostheses in 2002 and continued for several years.
