The series features a predominantly female cast, and understandably, it is mainly centered around the lives of girls and women. Leslie Mann as Margot Cleary-Lopez in 2019 and Auli’i Cravalho as Jos Cleary-Lopez later in the same month. January 2020 saw a glut of casting as John Leguizamo, Toheeb Jimoh, Ria Zmitrowicz, Halle Bush, Heather Agyepong, Nico Hiraga, and Daniela Vega cast in varying minor roles.

As of January 2022, no trailer or teaser has been uploaded to any public forum, website or group, and the producers appear willing to keep the book’s fans and show on their toes for any news or sneak peeks. A trailer should be expected sometime before June 2022, and hardcore fans of science fiction and counterfactuals will have to chew on their nails for a while longer.
