The animated series Spriggan, which is expected to be released in 2022, is based on a Japanese manga written by Hiroshi Takashige. The manga has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, and it is expected that the series will blow up just like the manga did.? Spriggan Season 1 Release Date: When Is It Supposed To Air?

The series scheduled a release in 2021, but due to the ravaging covid pandemic, production was delayed, making the release date rescheduled. Netflix is yet to release a specific date for when the series will premiere, but all we know is that it will be out sometime in 2022.

David Production will be in charge of the animation for the series. It was originally intended to launch on Netflix in 2021 but has been pushed back to 2022.

Spriggan Season 1 Cast: Who will be going to feature in this upcoming series?

Hiroshi Kobayashi, renowned for ‘Kill la Kill’ and ‘Tiger and Bunny’, will be directing the animation series. Since he has worked in the art department more this he has directed, we expect the animation to have outstanding graphics. Hiroshi Seko, the Japanese anime screenwriter famous for writing Jujutsu, will also be the director alongside Kobayashi. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Yu Ominae (the series protagonist), Ayumu Murase voices Colonel McDougal, Ken Narita as Moroha Koichi. Yohei Azakami voices Jean Jacquemond, Kenji Hamada voices Chief Yamamoto, and Mariya Ise (The Promised Neverland) voices Yoshino Somei. 

Spriggan Season 1 Plot: What is Spriggan’s story all about?

An ancient civilization with advanced technology that once ruled earth was destroyed due to its power abuse. They, however, left messages for the coming generations in the plate-like artifacts that were undestroyable. Written in ancient Hebrew, the plates had information on how to use their creations well to avoid repeating what happened. Considering the power that those artifacts held, various militaries, forces and armies started to look for the relics for their benefit, risking the future of earth for a second time. The ARCAM organization is the only body capable of stopping these malicious and selfish organizations.
