September started on a high note in the series universe with the release of Pantheon, an animated series from Craig Silverstein. The series has been making waves, and with only two episodes left to its season finale, it already has an impeccable rating on IMDB.
The Pantheon series is based on The Apocalypse Triptych, a short series by Ken Liu (The Hidden Girl). The first season premiered less than a month ago, and fans and viewers are already gassed up when the show’s second season will premiere. Here is everything we know so far about the second season of the animated drama.

“Pantheon” was cancelled by AMC Networks following its debut season. It was possible to sell or license the second edition to another platform since that it was already finished.
Pantheon Season 2 Release Date:
Unfortunately, AMC has yet to give us a precise date on when the Pantheon Series will premiere. The series is, however, doing quite well, with a rating of 8.1/10 on IMDB. There is no doubt that Pantheon will be coming, and we expect a second season by 2024.
Pantheon Season 2 Cast:
Katie Chang acts as Maddie, the withdrawn teen who gets bullied at school and is yet to come to terms with her fatherās death. Her tech-savvy and strong-willed attitude get her entangled in a conspiracy. Paul Dano plays Caspian, the tech genius teenager that does not know he is solely an experiment.
Daniel Kim (The Hot Zone) plays Maddieās father, the computer genius, and Rosemarie Dewitt as Ellen, Maddie’s mother. Other casts include Aaron Eckhart, Taylor Schilling (Dear Edward), Ron Livingston, Raza Jeffrey, and Chris Diamantopoulos (Blood of Zeus). In case the Pantheon series is renewed for second season. Expect all the casts coming out of season one alive to reprise.
Pantheon Season 2 Plot:
So far, we do not know what the Pantheon Second season has in store for us. The first season finale is yet to wrap out, and we will have to be a little patient. Maybe the conclusion will have some hints about what is to come. The first season plot, however, explores a young girl who is more than shocked when she starts receiving anonymous messages claiming to be her deceased father. Maddie, the girl whose father died two years ago, is yet to make peace with his death.
She gets bullied in school, and when offered help by an internet stranger, she is a bit skeptical. The online stranger says he is Maddieās dad, a revelation that surprises Maddie. Full of the question, she sets on an adventure to uncover the truth, only to discover a giant conspiracy about his fatherās death, and she might end up being pulled into the mix.
Pantheon Season 2 Trailer:
Unfortunately, a trailer for the Pantheon series is yet to be released and will not be coming out anytime soon. Out of the nine episodes supposed to be released, only seven have been released so far, and you can be on the lookout for the new episodes released every Tuesday on AMC.
The last episode is scheduled for release on the 12th of October, and you do not want to miss out on the season finale. There are also a variety of shows with the same plot as the Pantheon that you may want to check out. Cyberpunk Edge runners, 1899, and Andor are but a few.
