Corona Virus hit the hardest to people who were planning to go to Nocturnal Wonderland in 2020. The iconic electronic music festival can lift your mood no matter what and attract you like a moth to a flame, got canceled due to COVID-19. Insomniac Crew was supposed to announce the new venue and innovations to the show, but it never happened. To make up for it, they decided to dive into the digital realm and announced a Virtual Rave-A-Thon on 18th and 19th September 2020. Nocturnal Wonderland : When is it gonna take place?
Nocturnal Wonderland rocked the Audience in 1995 for the first time, and it is taking place every year without any break. The upcoming event will mark its silver jubilee (25th edition), and it is impossible to wait for it. Pasquale Rotella took to his Instagram handle and stated that good things don’t always come to an end and gave us the mind-blowing surprise with the announce date of Nocturnal Wonderland. 2019 was the crew’s last year at Glen Helen Regional Park, which started to feel like home to them. Things took a turn, and now they are returning to their home on 18th September to make some noise. It will officially be a two-day event (18th and 19th Sept.), which is not a surprise.
Nocturnal Wonderland lineup and what’s new!
Pasquale was kind enough to let us know the release date and venue, but he didn’t go into the details just yet. This lockdown has given Pasquale time to read the complaints from last year, and all of them will be taken into consideration. So, we can expect a smooth and fun Camp Nocturnal Experience. Those of you who went last year would be aware of the water shortage in the washrooms, which really was a mood killer. The problem will be solved, Pasquale himself confirmed. Line up and other details are yet to be announced.
Nocturnal Wonderland : Tickets and Online Streaming
We can guarantee that you are not gonna get a chance to buy yourselves a ticket if you don’t act quickly. A limited number of camping passes and tickets will be on sale for Nocturnal Wonderland 2021 on Thursday, 17th September. But as Pasquale said, don’t stress! More tickets and passes will be made available at a later date. Just a reminder to you guys, Nocturnal Wonderland Virtual Rave-A-Thon will take place on 18th and 19th September 2020 on Insomniac Tv. We are expecting a live stream of Nocturnal Wonderland 2021 will also be there, but Pasquale has not confirmed it.
Nocturnal Wonderland : Throwback 2019
It was packed; more than 80,000 people were there to dance the night away. Famous artists like Alan Walker, DJ Snake, and many more performed and made it worth being there. The art installations were just epic, and the sets were unforgettable, no doubt why it was sold out. Other than the performance, another great thing about the Nocturnal Wonderland was that it gave us a chance to sleep under the sky looking at stars with our best friends and loved ones. Camping was in demand because of all the options of morning yoga sessions, camping pre-party water park, and much more. It gave many the best memories of their lives, and we are hoping Nocturnal Wonderland 2021 to be even better!
