Drifters is an anime based on the manga written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. Drifters instantly gained popularity on its release in 2016. Fully loaded with adventure, it has gained a massive following on MAL (My Anime List). Drifters sold more than 1.5 million copies around the world. We can figure the excellence of the anime by the fact that it was in the nominations of Manga Taishi awards, twice! This show contains loads of hardcore action, and the characters fight the battle to protect the world. Some of the anime’s badass characters are based on mythical/real-life legends, fighting with all their might to guard their world. Twelve episodes of beautiful animations and deadly action left the fans craving for more. We know the production of mesmerizing graphics takes a lot of time, but it has been four years now. Here is all the info we have gathered on Drifters season 2.

Drifters Season 2 Release Date: When can we expect it?

The first season was aired on 7th October 2016, and now we are in 2020. It’s been a long time, and fans have been waiting for a while now. But don’t you worry, guys, as the last episode of season one said, “To be continued.” Yes, they didn’t reveal the exact date, and they just mentioned- See you again in 20XX. They left the fans in suspense, and that XX could be anything, who knows, it could be this year. But we reckon it will not be soon, thanks to COVID-19. By our estimate, we are expecting to get the second season in 2022. Creators are very discrete, and they are not revealing information as of yet. We are hoping to have 10-15 episodes as season one had 12. After so much waiting, fans deserve nothing less than that.

So you guys see, anime is full of real-life legends, which makes it even cooler. The show will be available in English on Hulu, Funimation, and Amazon prime, just like the first season. Original language is, of course, Japanese, and this will be the voice cast.

The next moment he was in a world different from his own, with all sorts of unique creatures, Hobbits, dwarves, dragons; you name it, it’s got it! It turns out that all the great warriors whom people considered to be dead in Toyohisa’s world were all in one piece, and they all were summoned there, termed as Drifters.
