You have to admit that adult animation has been taking the screens by storm, which is why Netflix has been investing in many of them recently. Every addition comes with its Pomp and Q-force, and Adventure Beast is some of the series that have impressed animation fans.
One series that left fans begging for more was Chicago Party Aunt, a show released over a year ago on Netflix. A year later, fans wonder if the animation will pick up from where it left off, and the answer is maybe or maybe not. The following article will update you on everything Netflix has revealed about the animation series. Read along to find out!
Chicago Party Aunt Season 2 Release Date:
If you loved watching the first season, what awaits must be disheartening to digest as of August 2022; Netflix has yet to reveal whether the show will premiere for the second season. The first season has a rating of 5.3 in IMDB, and the second season’s chances are minimal at this point, considering that the series rating is pretty average.
Netflix, however, ordered sixteen episodes of the show, and the first season only had eight. There might be hope for the remaining episodes to premiere as season two, but we cannot be so sure at this point. If the series gets a renewal, we should expect it to premiere in 2023, considering that the year is almost ending.
Chicago Party Aunt Season 2 Plot:
Just as the title suggests, the series follows the life of an aunt who is the party’s life. Diane Dombrowski is an aunt who believes in turning the sour lemons life gives you into lemonade. She finds it hard to adjust to living with his nephew, whom his parents abandoned after failing to attend Stanford.
Despite the two starting as foes, Soon enough, they become inseparable, and the nephew is exposed to Diane’s raw and unfiltered life. Diane is quite the problematic neighbor and sets on a mission to make life unbearable for all her neighbors. Her blunt and outgoing personality makes her a joy to be around.
Chicago Party Aunt Season 2 Cast:
Lauren Ash is cast as Diane Dunbrowski, the series’ protagonist. She stars as the Chicago aunt, who carries the whole show alongside Rory O’Malley as Daniel, Diane’s nephew. Other casts include RuPaul Charles (AJ and the Queen) as Gideon, Jill Talley playing Bonnie, Ike Barinholtz as Bonnies Husband Mark, Jon Barinholtz (American Auto) and Bob Odenkirk. We expect all cast members to reprise their roles if the series gets renewed for the second season. We may also expect the series to feature additional casts.
Chicago Party Aunt Season 2 Trailer:
A trailer of the second season is yet to be released by Netflix. It is unknown when the second season will premiere, and fans must be patient for the channel to give the series the green light.
If you did not watch the show’s first season, then you can do so on Netflix. You don’t need a subscription, but only access to the internet, as the animation show is not locked on Netflix.
