The TV network Showtime has ordered for a new round of its financial thriller, Billions. Remember, the show’s fifth season is still awaiting a conclusion because of the Coronavirus pandemic breakout. Showtime has set a possible return date for the remaining five episodes of season five to 2021. Produced by Brian Koppelman, Andrew Ross Sorkin, and David Levien. The series has an overall favorable reception, although the current season (season five) had reduced rates than the previous two seasons. On Metacritic, the show got a 76% rate from 5 reviewers, and Rotten Tomatoes delivered an 86% rating. The show has received numerous nominations for various award categories.

“Billions,” a long-running Showtime hit starring Corey Stoll and Paul Giamatti is scheduled to return for Season 7 in 2022, following the debut of Season 6 in 2022.
Billions Season 6 Release Date: When will it air?
Season five was released in May of this year, showing 7 of the allotted 12 episodes for the season. When season six will start airing is a guess for anyone. However, it’s hoped that once the production for season five commences, season six will also follow earnestly. Therefore possibly the May Airdate of season five is followed.
Season 6 of Billions premiered on Showtime on January 23. On Showtime, new episodes of Billions will broadcast on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Billions Season 6 Plot: What is going to happen?
Billions follow the struggle for supremacy between two powerful individuals, the ambitious billionaire Bob Axelrod and his antagonist, the attorney general Chuck Rhoades. Axe always tries to clinch great profits for his company and shareholders, Axe Capital, using diverse means including insider trading, bribery and sabotage. He definitely always end up butting heads with the US attorney hell-bent on imprisoning him. Last season we saw Chuck and Axe reawaken their rivalry. Between all this Axelrod is still also fighting to own a bank. Charles Rhoades, Sr. is dying. That’s not all; we were all surprised with Axe obsessively watching over Wendy, especially her relationship with her boyfriend.
