Even though the hard work and effort put into producing the anime has paid off for many, not all of them have been completely successful.

The Devil Is a Part-Timer anime began airing in 2013; it follows the everyday life of Satan (also known as “part-timer” in Japan), who’s come to Earth from hell after losing a bet with a young girl. The series is six episodes long and animation production by White Fox. The story is about Satan attempting to conquer the world of Ente Isla, but when defied by the Hero Emilia, he is obliged to retreat through a gate that brings him to modern-day Tokyo, Japan. To survive and obtain a way to return to Ente Isla, Satan adopts the name Sadao Maou and gains part-time employment at a fast-food restaurant called MgRonald’s, a parody of McDonald’s.
