Another self is a Turkish drama series expected to premiere on Netflix in July, the series explores the friendship of the trio and the sacrifice they have to make for each other in times of distress. Created by Nuran Everen, another self takes a spiritual dimension of life and how reconnecting with the spiritual self during a crisis can be the perfect way to resolve traumas and distress in life. Another Self Season 2 Release Date: When will it be out?
So far, there is no information from the series creator or the distributing channel on when the second season will premiere. Neither the creators of the show nor the network that airs it have yet revealed the release date for Another Self Season 2.
The first season is set to premiere on the 28th of July on Netflix and will have eight episodes. Since many factors play a role in the renewal of a series and, most importantly, the series rating and the creator’s preparedness, it will be a long wait before we get a tangible way forward. The number of episodes the second series will have been also unknown, but the best chance is that it will have eight episodes, just like the first season. An update will be curated in case of any information.
Another Self Season 2 Plot: What should we expect?
Since the series is yet to be termed as a limited series or an anthology, the second series will pick up from how the first seasons ended. The first season explores the lives of three best friends; how they differ from each other but manage to complete each other like a piece of a puzzle. Ada, the Surgeon, Sevgi, the lawyer, and Leyla have been friends since college. The trio’s friendship is severely tested when Sevgi gets diagnosed with cancer and the three have to figure out alternative ways to get her in one piece other than the hospital. Amid Ada’s protest, Sevgi Asks Leyla to take her on a mission to find a mysterious man who might be the only chance for Sevgis’s survival. Little do they know their lives are about to undergo tremendous changes.
Another Self Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
The series stars a group of friends who decide to go on a life-changing adventure together. Tuba Buyukustun, famously known for the series Black Money Love as Eluif stars as Ada. Her two other friends are Boncuk Yilamaz as Sevgi and Seda Bakan as Leyla. Ada, one of the three best friends, is an accomplished surgeon, and Sevgi is the group’s lawyer. However, Leyla is not a career woman but still manages to balance out her relationship with her friends.
If the series gets renewed for the second season, we should expect to see the three best friends cruising through life together. Other casts include Riza Kocaoglu, Murat Boz, Serkan Altunorak, and Firat Tanis.
