She is a comedian based in Brooklyn who is famous for her way of incorporating satire to talk about the “uncomfortable” topics people shy away from discussing. Her popular Instagram live show “Baited” blatantly asks guests what their stand is on race. A rating of 73% on rotten tomatoes indicates that the reception of the series is not as bad. Despite some terming it as “Cringe Comedy,” Ziwe has garnered views and likes from the public, more so the black community and they cannot wait for the second season release.

Will the series grace our screens for the second time? Fans of Ziwe are beyond themselves with excitement after it was announced that the series had been renewed for the second season. The first season premiered on Showtime on the 19th of May 2021. The second season will be longer than the first, with six additional episodes. The first season took only 15 days to film but we could expect the second season to take more time considering it has more episodes than the first. Ziwe, the series creator, is also working on “The Book of Ziwe,” a comedy essay based on “The Nigerian Princess that premiered on Amazon.
