James Gunn’s Suicide Squad has premiered its first trailer – full of action and laughs, almost a sequel to 2016’s “Suicide Squad.” The film follows a team of supervisors forced to do good by Amanda Waller, who insured an explosive instrument in the villagers’ skulls.
The trailer, which Gunn shared online on Friday, starts with several teammates, including the Peacemaker of John Cena and Bloodsport of Idris Elba, who argue while they are on their way to rescue their friend.
Only five short years since David Ayer’s suicide team was released, WB/DC slightly hit the reboot button, and this afternoon the official red band trailer is here, with James Gunn’s sequel, The Suicide Squad. True to Gunn, the film’s first look is full of personality, mood and bloody violence, and a wide range of strange characters, including King Shark, Weasel, Polka-Dot Man, and John Cena’s Peacemaker.
Well, Harley Quinn Season 3 cast- King Shark can’t stop devouring people. He rips one clean in half at the bloodiest moment from the trailer. This is one of the greatest moments in a superhero movie to date, and we can only take it as an R+ rating.
This is a far different vision of the Suicide Squad than that we had seen in the last few years, not to mention a very different vision of the DC Universe. Gunn’s personality is all around him and appears to be WB/DC giving him full creative freedom, which Disney/Marvel gave him with his Galaxy Guardians. The film also contains a kaiju starfish. Seeing DC in the business of James Gunn is great, it’s sure for good. So you should see the new wild trailer of The Suicide Squad!
The Suicide Squad tells you that this is no much a follow-up as a reset of 2016 and is being created by amazing director James Gunn, who also directed Guardians of the Galaxy Films. This trailer of the 6th movie seems to be designed with its sweet-colored absurdity to be disturbing.
What’s going on in this story is difficult to know exactly. A team was formed to conduct another Dirty Dozen mission, from which they may not return—which seems to mean fighting … a huge starfish? The best thing we can do right now is to break down who’s who instead of delving into what.
Some of the characters are back, so we already know Harley Quinn from Margot Robbie, Rick Rick Flag from Joel Kinnaman(For All Mankind), Amanda Waller from Viola Davis(How To Get Away With Murder 7), and Boomerang from Jai Courtney.

Sylvester Stallone gives his voice to the character of King Shark! On August 6, WB has been scheduled to release the Suicide Squad in theaters and on HBO Max.
