Julian Fellowes was born in the British landed gentry. His series Downtown Abbey was influenced by real-life experience as the father was an English Diplomat, but Fellowes mother never got the chance to be presented as a debutante.

Julian told Baranski that she could love to work with the actors; therefore, there is a possibility they will all return for a second season.

The series’ second plot remains a mystery, but we could speculate how it will go following how season one ended. The fact that the production team started working on the show even before it premiered for the first season is indication enough that we won’t have to wait an eternity for the show’s debut. In the first season, we witnessed the struggle of power between the old money family led by Christine Baranski and the new money entrepreneurs whom Bertha Rusell led. Marian Brook eventually learned how harsh the world is, and Peggy Scott tried to make it as a black female journalist.
