Netflix announced that it would adopt the Boom comic into a series, Something is killing the Children. The comic book was initially released with only five limited series, but it blew up insanely and they had to keep the comic going. According to Hollywood Reporter, the series pilot episode is already in motion, which is something to look forward to. The kids relive their experiences of seeing terrible creatures in the shadows, which leaves the community hopeless. However, when a strange woman suddenly appears in the town, they believe there might be hope. The stranger opines that the children are telling the truth as she can also see what the children see. Erica Slaughter, the monster slayer, is about to be the children’s hero.

Apart from the series synopsis and plot, Netflix has yet to give an update on the cast featured in the What is killing the Children show. We know that Trevor Macy will be producing the horror series in collaboration with Mike Flanagan.
The two are also expected to execute the show; therefore, a long task lies ahead of them. Flannigan’s wife, Kate Siegel, starred in the Hill House series, and she may also feature in this one alongside some of the Hill; House casts, like Henry Thomas or Victoria Pedretti. Since Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club, series that Flannigan and Macy are working on, have some cast members from the Hill house, this new series might follow the same trend.
