Shrinking Season 2 Plot: What should we expect?

According to the logline released, the upcoming show focuses on a grieving therapist programmed to tell his clients what he was taught in school. After following the book for a long time, he decides to tell his patients what he thinks and not what he was taught to tell them. Telling his patients the truth as it is and not trying to protect their feelings could take two roads. First, he could help his patients see the truth as harsh as it is and stop living in a fake air of confidence. Or being harsh to the patients whose state of mind is already delicate could lead to more diverse effects like self-harming.
