The Turkish love story tells the story of Shahmaran, a half-woman half-snake who falls in love with a man. It tells the story of Sahsu, a woman blind by rage who leaves home to her grandfather’s house to confront him about a mistake he made years ago. Sahsu’s grandfather left her mother in the City of Adan, with which Sahsu has never made peace. As she travels to her grandfather’s, Sahsu is trapped by the Mar Community. This mysterious village believes that she is the long-awaited fulfilled prophecy they have been waiting for. With Sahsu and Maran crossing paths, her destiny will change forever. But will she make peace with her new identity or the changes she has yet to experience?
Shahmaran Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?
The series has been written by Umur Turagay, known for writing series scripts of Portrait of Beauty, Hot Skull, and 17 Mayis. Serenay Saikaya plays Sahsu, the series protagonist who lives in the city to confront her grandfather but realizes a greater mystery waits for her. She is a Turkish actress and has featured in many other shows, including Saskin and Plajda, and starred as the series protagonist in the Peri Masali show. She will be acting in the lead role alongside Burak Deniz, who will play Maran. Denis has featured in other roles including Ask Laftan Anlamaz where he played Murat Sarsilmaz. Other actors include Mert Ramazan, Ebru Ozkan, Mahir Gunsiray, Mustafa Urgulu, Nil Sude Albayrak, Berfu Halisdemir, and Mehmet Bilge Aslan.
