Santa Clarita Diet Season 4 Release Date: Will there be a season 4 of Santa Clarita Diet?

It is so disappointing for the Santa Clarita Diet’s fans that the series is declared shut by the official streaming Network, Netflix, after wrapping up its third installation.

It is even worsening for the fans when the last season has ended on a suspicious cliff-hanger when Sheila put her teeth in Joel’s neck. Apart from that, the mystery behind Mr. Ball’s legs is remaining in its viewers’ heads. They were following the show on 3 February 2017, which first premiered on Netflix. Followed by the second season on 23 March 2018 and the third on 29 March 2019. Unfortunately, there is no Season 4 of the Santa Clarita Diet.

The answer is that Netflix has cancelled the show. On April 26, 2019, Netflix decided to end the series.

As if that weren’t enough of a bummer, the past season ended on a questionable cliffhanger. Consequently, the fourth season was eagerly anticipated, but the situation worsened when it was canceled at the end of the season’s run.

Even after the fans’ reaction and demand of the horror drama, but Netflix has determined to cling to its decision. As a consequence, the status of the series is still canceled.

But if Season 4 will come back, the 4th season of this series is likely to be telecast on Netflix in 2024.

Reason of Cancellation of Santa Clarita Diet Season 4:

Santa Clarita Diet Season 4 Cancelled

The most expected reason for the cancellation of season 4 of the Santa Clarita Diet was that the series’s financial expectation was not as growing as the makers were supposed to earn. On the other hand, Netflix has focused more on future revenue opportunities such as “Stranger things” and “The Crown”, which undoubtedly dominate the other series that will make more money for the Streamer.

The show has been officially canceled by Netflix. The show’s cancellation was announced in a statement. Tracy Kautsky Boomer, the producer of the Santa Clarita Diet, told CNN, “They called us with the news yesterday.” “We’re all so depressed. We had so much fun making it.”

Who will be Appearing in Season 4 if in case it is Supposed to Premier?

However, if there is any possibility in the future that would lead the fourth season of Santa Clarita Diet, you may see some new faces and the previous faces who will reprise their role in the upcoming one.

Plot and Expected Storyline of Santa Clarita Season 4:

Although the series’s cancellation is even more haunted for the viewers just because the last season has left them on a massive cliff-hanger of what would happen with Mr. Ball’s legs and will Joel save the life of Sheila. The future plot of the fourth season will be so exciting to watch. Will Joel lead her life like her wife in a metamorphic way who eats human fleshes or will save her?

Victor Fresco, the showrunner of SCD, indicated that he had already prepared several events for the fourth installment. He intended to foster a friendship between Abby and Eric. Not only that, but in Season 4 of Santa Clarita Diet, the former would become a zombie hunter. Fresco also desired to do something enjoyable with Sheila and Joel as a couple. He also revealed that in the fourth season, audiences would see Joel with a new attitude, but the show was unfortunately discontinued.

Uncertainly, Season 4 would be the best among all the other seasons of this series as it would come with lots of touches of humor and unrevealed answers. But as the production decided yet, it will not be going to stream on any network.
