‘New Amsterdam’ is an American television series that follows the medical drama in one of the oldest American public hospitals. On September 20, Netflix announced that New Amsterdam season 5 will be available for streaming. Previously, season 5 could only be streamed on NBC’s website and Peacock due to an exclusive licensing deal with NBCUniversal-owned properties. However, this exclusivity will end in September.
Initially, there was anticipation that season 5 would be released on Netflix later in the fall or even in January 2024, a year after its run on NBC ended. Fortunately, the wait for fans will soon come to an end as season 5 is slated for release on September 20, 2023. Season 5 will also be the smallest season, with an episode count of 13.
