Dachigam National Park-Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir with its full of natural beauty and its also known as the paradise of India. It’s situated in 22kms of north east of Srinagar and its cover an area of 141kms.Its considered as two parts which means more visitors are mostly accessible to visit in upper Dachigam is a day’s trek. Topography-It’s located in Zabarwan Range of the western Himalaya and the park lies above the tree line with natural beauty of bare rock mountains and crevices. Flora-famous for hangul or kashmir stag and various species like Musk Deer,Leapard,Himalayan serow,Himalayan black and brown bear,etc.Birds-cinnamon sparrow, Black bulbul,Minivet,woodpecker,etc.
Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand
One of the largest park in India and its more than 488 species of fauna and 586 wildlife species are there in this park and attract almost 70,000 visitors visited till now. It’s located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand.This Park has been divided into five different zones.Bijrani safari zone, Jhirna Safari Zone, Dhela Safari Zone, Durga Devi zone, Dhikala Zone, Sitabani Buffer Zone. This park attracted by Leopard, Hyena, Himalayan Goral, Elephant and last but not least Royal Bengal Tigers.
Gir National Park and Sasan Gir Sanctuary at Gujarat
It’s situated in Gujarat and it’s established in 1965.This park is famed for providing shelter to Asiatic lions and its mixed deciduous type of forest. In flora there is Amla, Timru, Babul, Bahedo, and Moledi. In fauna there is Blue Bull, Spotted deer, Chinkara, Asiatic Lions and chousingha. This park around 38 species of mammals, 300 avi fauna species, 37 species of reptiles and over 2000insect species.
Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary at Kerala
It’s in Kerala on Anappady place and has been proposed a world heritage site by the UNESCO.Its established on 1973.It’s the best spot for enjoy rich and enthusiastic flora and fauna. Here in the flore there is rosewood, teak, sandalwood and Neem trees are there and in fauna there is wild boar, Leopard, Macaques, Lion tailed. Visitors are mostly attracted and praised for providing shelter to various endangered and conserved species.
Kanha National Park at Madhya Pradesh
It has served as a source of inspiration for jungle book. It’s very popular national park in India located in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the most popularity of this place is The Royal Bengal Tigers. Fauna-Jungle cat, Wild dogs, Foxes, Jackals, Swamp Deer, Wild Cats, Barking Deer, Hares, Rat snakes, etc.It’s acknowledged as a best tourism friendly national parks award by the Department of Tourism, Government of India.
Bandhavgarh National Park
Bandhavgarh National Park located in Madhya Pradesh in the heart of Umaria district. It’s full of natures and beauty were loved by the visitors and wild enthusiasts, ever year with decent numbers. It’s famous for Tiger, Panther, Deer, and 250 Bird and its nice place for photography. November to February is the best time to visit.
Sunderbans National Park
This national park is the largest forest in west Bengal and it’s also covered by throughout mangrove forest. There is almost 54 small island along with numerous river Ganges tributaries. Here the tourist are not only come for enjoy the sceneries but also come for enjoyed with wildlife constituted by 55 species of reptiles,250 species of birds and 58 species of mammals. This park is main attracted by Royal Bengal Tigers, wild boar, chital, fox and common Grey Mongoose.
Pench National Park
This park is located in the neighboring state of Maharashtra.Its established on 1983.This Wildlife Park is mainly popular with Leopards, Deer, sloth bear, jungle cat, Bengal Tigers, striped hyena and porcupine and it’s the paradise of birds watchers. In this park we can see around 300 gorgeous species which include parakeets, Kingfishers, horn bills, bar-bets, chital, minivets, wagtails and white eye buzzard etc. The Best time to visit this park is between Novembers to June month.
Keoladeo National Park
It’s firmly known as Bharatpur bird Sanctuary in bharatpur in the state of Rajasthan. In this park migratory bird species are protected around 29 Sq km.The main wildlife attraction by Cranes Ducks, Wagtails, Pelicans and flycatchers and its most popular for wide range of water fowl and stoke species. The best time to visit this place for October to March.
Periyar National Park
This park is located in Kerala and its protected wildlife reserve. It was established on 1982.This national park is situated right at the heart of Pandalam hills and the cardamom hills of south Western Ghats. This national park is mainly popular for Tiger, Elephants, Gaur, Wild Pigs, Barking Deer, Sambar and Nilgiri Langur and the best visited time is winter month of November to February.
