Law and order: SVU turn-off series is well in progress, with Christopher Meloni returning in the profoundly foreseen new series, Law and Order: Organised Crime. The actor left the show in 2011 after the twelfth season. However, in another photograph tweeted by series showrunner Warren Leigh, it’s unmistakable Meloni is back where he has a place.

Leigh captioned the image as “Well, we had a pretty good read-thru,” which demonstrated 59-year-old Meloni (in the brilliant green shirt) sitting at a table read for the new show.
Additionally in the photograph are SVU series regulars Peter Scanavino, Mariska Hargitay, Kelli Giddish, Ice-T, and Jamie Gray Hyder, alongside series maker Dick Wolf and the remainder of the creative group.
Meloni — who played Detective Elliot Stabler — first started discussing a return back in March. Variety detailed the new series would follow Stabler as he headed up the coordinated crime division of the NYPD. Yet, the Covid pandemic deferred creation on the unused portion of the hit franchise.

Notwithstanding, if the ongoing table read is anything to pass by, the side project’s shooting will continue soon. In any case, Meloni is glad to have gotten back to the well-known franchise.

Christopher Meloni played Detective Elliot Stabler for 12 seasons before his takeoff in 2011. (NBC). From the start, he thought producers needed him to wrap up a couple of last details concerning his character, yet makers had something different in mind.

“My reps thought it was a get back to have me come to SVU to sort of wrap up his story, four scenes of something like that,” Meloni told Variety in July. “Be that as it may, they just emerged from the blue with another show.”

Via online media, Law and Order: SVU show-runner Warren Leigh posted a photograph of an ongoing scene read-through, including, in all honesty, Christopher Meloni. The previous SVU star is, the same number of fans know, getting back to the NBC-franchise with his series: Law and Order: Organised Crime.
It’s indistinct if Meloni will star in another episode of SVU. However, the table read proposes it’s almost unavoidable.
